Write!

Welcome to Write!, the writing blog presented by HERING.ORG. The purpose of this site is to provide a forum where aspiring writers/poets can submit their unpublished material for Internet ‘publishing’ and receive timely feedback from readers and literary agents.

I do not charge any fees, nor do I pay royalties. On this site, I am neither operating as a literary agent nor as a publisher. So keep your hopes down and your aspirations up.

| What’s New? |

So why would you want to submit anything? What’s in it for you? HERING.ORG is looking to establish a platform where literary agents and publishers – as well as global bloggers, newspaper editors, and A-list personalities – can filter, search, analyze, and enjoy reading stories and IOI’s (items of interest) by selecting from a pool of new writers, poets, and literary artists.

The novels appearing on this site are being written in real-time. You can either read excerpts from them here, or you can follow the novel on a page-by-page, blog-entry basis. Post your comments and make suggestions; your remarks may affect the way the story continues!

Currently, only stories written in either English or German will be posted. I’m working on expanding my network (well, not really, but it makes it sound like I’m doing something) to include novels and poetry written in other languages, for example in Polish or Russian.

Hits
Yes, I get them. And the more I get the better it is for you. Tell your friends about this site and tell your grandmother and her grandmother and all your ancestors. You never know. I want the Internet heavens to be aglow with all things literary blogging. I want you to be successful so I am constantly working at extending my coverage to garner more hits.

Posting Comments
Yes, you may. But please register first. This just enables me to keep the Spambots at bay and allows me to spend my time doing something considerably more rewarding than deleting Spam. Thanks for your understanding.

In addition, please read our Thought of the day for a daily dose of false inspiration. Or are you interested in reading some Meaningless poetry? Feel free to browse the many self-composed lines of free-falling linguistic zeppelins: it all comes from the heart.

Keep the faith.
