So do corporate slogans and catchwords actually help sell a company’s products and services? Who knows, but the truth is some of these slogans are pretty silly, don’t you think? I call it “mad advertising” — creating noise by using a bunch of words that have been mixed and matched without rhyme or reason. The worst of the lot are the ones that begin or end with “a changing world”. I mean, come on, is there a world that isn’t changing? I didn’t think so.
On the other hand, “Writing the World’s Biography”. Simple. Smart. And nice. Isn’t it? ![]()
